Welcome to the Nutrition Together program, a personalized, one-on-one nutrition plan that will help you establish sustainable eating habits. The program is designed to compliment your Fitness Together exercise routine, because fitness and nutrition are inseparable parts of an overall wellness plan. We at Fitness Together believe that the optimal health and fitness plan combines regular strength training with good nutrition and cardio exercise, a three-tiered approach designed to help clients achieve their goals and live healthier lives.
Nutrition Together isn't about dieting; it's about giving you the knowledge to change how you eat. Nutritional counseling sessions cover topics ranging from how to eat light (and enjoy it) to grocery shopping, dining out and changing unhealthy eating behaviors. And it gets even better; Nutrition Together Online now offers you customized access to an exclusive website with healthy recipes, weekly tips and an online accountability journal that automatically tracks your weight loss progress.
Nutrition Together consists of six private one-on-one sessions, each covering a variety of topics. Also included is an accountability journal, food and exercise journal and a general guide book. Plus, you get access to a website with weekly tips, recipes and more. The evaluations and education you receive from our qualified personal trainers includes everything from determining baseline data, to changing eating habits, to learning how to best eat at home and in restaurants.
You will be working closely with your Nutrition Together consultant to guide you through the skills needed to put the basics of a healthy and fit lifestyle into practice. Over the next six sessions, you will learn:
- Sensible strategies for eating healthy and staying fit.
- Grocery shopping skills and pantry organization for health.
- Tips on making more nutritious choices when eating in and eating out.
- How to take control of unhealthy eating behaviors.
- How to put it all together to maintain healthy habits for life.
Learning these things and more will set you on the path to a healthy and fit lifestyle. After completing the six session course, our trainers will offer continual tracking of your progress by following up with regular weekly discussions about your accountability journal and other lessons you will have learned.
